- Pope Gregory I made a collection of religious music which is called Gregorian Chants or Plainchant. The religious music that Pope Gregory I collected are monophonic. He put all the songs into a book named Liber Usualis which contains over 800 chants.The text of the songs are all about "God", "Maria", "Jesus", etc.

- They had a lot of beautiful mosaic and marble.
